The recognition underscores his remarkable efforts in elevating standards within the tourism and aviation industries.
His Excellency Saad bin Ali Al Kharji earned this distinction for his leadership in positioning Qatar as a premier global tourism hub, advancing tourism infrastructure, enriching cultural offerings, and expanding a comprehensive year-round events calendar. He has also led Qatar’s participation in major international forums, enhancing the nation’s presence on the global stage.
Engineer Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, was similarly acknowledged for his pivotal role in steering Qatar Airways’ evolution into a global leader in operational efficiency, financial strength, and environmental responsibility. Under his direction, the airline secured the title of World’s Best Airline for the eighth time by Skytrax in 2024.
