Sharjah Airport Authority has celebrated a new achievement by being awarded the ISO certificate for the global information security management system once again. The certificate has been issued for a period of three years, following an audit and evaluation process where all procedures and regulations were checked to ensure that they conformed to international standards.
The Authority’s success in receiving the ISO 27001: 2013 certificate for three years, from January 2021 until January 2024, confirms its commitment to implementing the highest international standards for information security, as well as a continuous assessment of all risks. This is in addition to designing and implementing a comprehensive and effective set of information security controls and policies that apply to various operations.
His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “Sharjah Airport Authority obtaining the ISO 27001: 2013 global certification reflects our vision based on building an integrated digital environment in order to provide safe and distinctive experiences for travellers and customers.
