One of Dubai’s leading entrepreneurs and technology investors, Ferhat Kacmaz has announced his latest venture, HUNDREDHANDS, developed through his Dubai-based technology company German Techperts. The new platform uses artificial intelligence to support small and medium-sized businesses through a physical mini computer that operates as a digital employee, working continuously to handle business tasks and improve efficiency.
HUNDREDHANDS is built for a segment the technology industry has largely ignored: SME businesses that cannot afford ever more expensive staff and are too small to be a priority for large agencies and consultancies. While companies everywhere struggle to find qualified people, daily office work simply piles up: quotations, invoices, payment reminders, customer enquiries, social media, research, scheduling, reporting. This is exactly the work the HUNDREDHANDS AI employee takes over, with no holidays, no sick days and no closing time.
What sets the product apart is how it is operated. There is no dashboard, no login and no training. The entrepreneur manages the digital employee entirely through WhatsApp, including voice messages from the car. “The best user interface is the one nobody has to learn,” says Kacmaz. “Our customers are entrepreneurs, not IT departments. They already spend their whole day writing WhatsApp messages. Now they simply write to their new employee as well.”
Running the AI on dedicated hardware at the customer’s premises is a deliberate decision. “When the machine sits in your office, your data stays in your office: your contracts, your customer list, your invoices,” says Kacmaz. Behind every device stands a multi-level support system: the machines monitor and repair themselves, and HUNDREDHANDS’ own AI agents typically resolve issues before the customer even notices them.
Kacmaz first built the digital employee for his own companies: “At some point every entrepreneur I met asked me the same question: can I have that too?” He is convinced the technology will change how SMEs compete: for the first time, a small team gains the operational capacity of a much larger organisation, without hiring a single additional employee. “Advisors give advice.
